Volvo World Match Play 2012

The Volvo World Match Play gets underway this week in a completely revamped format with the biggest change seeing the event move away from Wentworth for the very first time in its history. This years tournament sees the event move to the Finca Cortesin resort and club in Spain in what is the first of many changes to one of the biggest events on the European Tour Calendar.

In another change to the event the 24 players will be split into eight groups of three and will play in a round robin format with each player playing the other once over 18 May 19th - 22nd and every player is seeded No.1 to 24 dependent on their performance and placed into eight groups.
