World Matchplay 2004 - Winner Ernie Els
The HSBC World Match Play Championship was the 41st World Match Play Championship played at Wentworth Golf Club in London, England. Each match played was a 36-hole match. Ernie Els defeated Lee Westwood by a 2 and a 1 in the final to win the tournament for an impressive 6th time greatly increasing his World Match Play betting odds for winning it for a seventh time.
